What By-Stas is

By-Stas helps you discover and keep track of live events — concerts, festivals, shows and more — gathered from public event and ticketing partners into one place.

We do not sell tickets. When you're ready to buy, we link you to the third-party provider that lists the event. Prices, availability, purchases, refunds and the final event details are handled by that provider under their own terms and privacy policies — not by us.

Information we collect

• Your email — to sign you in with a magic link. There are no passwords.
• Your activity — the events you save, mark as going, hide, follow and view, so we can tailor your feed and suggestions.
• Your preferences — such as preferred countries and cities, whether you opted into the email digest, and your theme choice.
• Approximate region — inferred from your IP address only to default the country filter to somewhere relevant. It isn't precise location tracking.

How we use it

• To personalize your feed and the suggestions we surface.
• To send the weekly digest email — only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the service secure, reliable and working as intended.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Ticketing and purchases happen on the providers' own sites under their policies. A small number of processors act on our behalf to run the service — email delivery, error and performance monitoring, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. They only handle what they need to provide their function.

Your rights and control

• Export everything we hold about you — Settings → Download JSON.
• Delete your account and associated data — Settings.
• Unsubscribe from the digest anytime, from the email or your settings.

We keep the data we hold to the minimum needed to run these features.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies — a sign-in session cookie and a security (CSRF) token. Your theme and view preferences are stored locally in your browser. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Terms of use

By-Stas is provided to help you discover and track events. Event data comes from third parties and may occasionally be incomplete, out of date or incorrect — always confirm the details with the ticketing provider before making plans or a purchase. By signing in you agree to these terms and to the handling of your data described above.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We aren't responsible for the accuracy of third-party event data or for anything that happens on a provider's site. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update this statement as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
